We enjoy trying to make sure that your home stays your most valuable asset.  One of the best ways we know to help, is to pass along some simple maintenance tips that most people don’t know could save thousands of dollars.

Outdoor Wiring

It is a common misunderstanding that outdoor wiring and indoor wiring are the same thing…they are not. Electricity can be hazardous and the outdoor environment can quickly change a severed wire into a death trap. When inspecting your house you should look for damaged plugs, lighting fixtures, cables, and improper wiring.

You should inspect your outdoor electrical no less than once a season preferably more, especially if you have children. Make sure your cables are in good condition, always wear shoes to ground yourself when working with electrical equipment and hire an electrician to fix any problems you may come across.
