We enjoy trying to make sure that your home stays your most valuable asset.  One of the best ways we know to help, is to pass along some simple maintenance tips that most people don't know could save thousands of dollars.

Electrical Service Capacity

Many different factors go into determining the service capacity off a house. Older houses use 110/120 volt service. This allows less electrical flow; however isn't necessarily a problem to convert to 220/240 volt service. Modern electric houses require 150, 175, or even 225 amps while a house with gas running to it may be fine using only 100 amps.

Power is delivered either underground or overhead. An underground system is better, however it is expensive to convert the overhead system.

Please feel free to forward this maintenance tip to your friends and/or family members so they too can maintain their real estate investment.
